NYC Ready - Part 1!!!

New York..New York...If you can Make it here...You can Make it Anywhere!!

On October 18, 2010 I will be in New York City for three days...this trip is apart of my Retail Seminar Fashion class. I am so excited..mixed with anxious...mixed with extremely high proportions of fashion ego...mixed with the spirit of a person who is truly blessed. Some things that I will be doing in NYC is going to Fifth Avenue, The Fashion District, and to a designer showroom(that I will post on after the trip). I am looking forward to so many things...like the food, shopping, sight seeing, and of course "The Endless Possibilities".  One thing that was really important to me for this trip was...My Fashion...I wanted looks that was daring, bold, and a representation of a true fashion student. I love all of my looks because they are all totally different and that's what defines NEW YORK FASHION! I am so honored to have this opportunity to go to NYC and show the BIG APPLE what I can do!

"The Body" was a phrase given to supermodel Heidi Klum for her amazing figure. Is it a figure that wears the clothing or the clothing that wears the figure...In my "fashion given opinion" it's the clothing that wears the figure. Sexy clothing makes the body looks sexy...it's a proven fact...let's refer back to Heidi Klum...three weeks after given birth, she catwalked in the Victoria Secret Runway Show in lingerie. Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2011 Spring collection is a reference to "the clothing wears the figure"!!!!

In this pop culture obsessed world...we always want to know... what our favorite celebrities are doing and what they are wearing.  This generation of celebrities is always making headlines for partying, shopping, and walking....but no celebrity does this better than  "LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE"...Rihanna. Rihanna has became one of the biggest musicians on the planet because of her Risky style. From a bold haircut, six inch heels, to...lace glasses and body hugging costumes...there is nothing that Rihanna can't wear.  Whether performing on stage or shopping, Rihanna outfit is always stylish. The thing that makes Rihanna style so different from other celebrities is that, she will take a left turn...like with her new fiery red hair or mix of patterns. From styles of Music of the Sun, to A Girl Like Me, to a Good Girl Gone Bad, and becoming Rated R...now being Loud "Little Miss Sunshine" has successfully earned the title of a FASHION ICON!
