The very essence of fashion at its best can be explained in one word - CHANEL. Black and white is the epitome of elegance and the brains behind this operation is none other than Mr. Karl Lagerfeld. Simply stated, he is GENIUS and everything to the fashion world. Karl Lagerfeld is the head designer and creative designer for the fashion house Chanel. His unique visions have enticed the fashion world for decades and he continues to amaze us with his brilliance. Mr. Lagerfeld, we salute you and thank you for your contributions to the fashion industry!

I am new to the fashion scene. My personal style changes from day to day or pound to pound. Let's be honest, EVERYTHING is not for EVERYBODY! I love my out of bed looks and my bossy dress ups. I'm very simple and classic. I LOVE black. It looks so elegant on my brown skin. I wear my hair down but look my best with it all pulled back accenting my beautifuLL bone structure. One word to describe my style is versatile and I admire others who can wear almost anything and get away with it. Here is a list of some of my favorite fashionistas. All of these ladies are so creative in their dress. They look flawless on the red carpets and chic out and about. From metallic minis to tweed jackets, they are all the ultimate FASHIONISTA!

MAGICAL...BEAUTIFUL....DREAMFUL....ROMANTIC....

These words describes the new Spring 2011 Collection by Christian Siriano. Christian first showed the world his talents on the hit show "Project Runway." He was a eager designer who knew what he wanted and in the end came out on top as the WINNER. Every collection from Christian Siriano has been a journey of a growth through clothing. His new Spring 2011 Collection is Amazing mixed with Genius mixed with "I have finally arrived."  I chosed this collection to showcased first from New York Fashion week because It made me dream even bigger and believe that anything is possible with lots of hardwork, tears, and a love for Fashion. All these things are what we saw Christian Siriano do in front of our eyes and now we see him as the Mr. Christian Siriano...the fashion designer and innovator.

As the clock ticked it striked twelve and New York fashion week was in full effect. New York fashion week is one of the most oldest and notable fashion weeks in history. When it first began household name designers was showcased but now its more of designers trying to become household names showcased.  Fashion Night Out....kicked off the festivites with a runway show in Lincoln Center (the new location of NY fashion week) with supermodels, theme designs, and young hollywood such as Blake Lively and Leighton Meister. Tonight is the Ultimate shopping spree, with another Fashion Night Out being held at various locations...such as designer stores. So in the mist of Fashion Week I will like to give you all some tips for the late night shopping, shows, and parties.

T-I-P    T-O-C-K-S

1. A mini black dress.
2. Red lip stick and flowing hair.
3. A blazer.
4. Bangles, statement necklace, and earrings.(just 2 of the 3)
5. Bloomer shorts.
6. Six inch or higher heels.
7. Military style inspired anything.(jacket,color,pants)
8. Mini embellished dress.
9. Studded or metallic clutched.
10. Metallic, Metallic, Metallic.(anything)
